About Us

The mission of the Adult Reading Center, a non-profit 501 (c)(3) organization established in 1987, is to provide free instruction to adults. AEC offers an array of classes such as ESL/EL Civics, Citizenship, Small Business & Entrepreneurship, Phlebotomy, GED/HSE, Job Readiness/Career Pathways, Workforce Development, and much more. Classes are offered face-to-face and virtually with classes held at the main campus and several satellite sites throughout Brazoria and surrounding counties.
