About Us

SilverLake Immigrant Aid Society is a nonprofit immigration legal services organization serving individuals, families, and employers. Founder Clarissa L. Valdez became an immigration paralegal in order to assist her sister, Attorney Frances E. Valdez, with her own firm. Because Clarissa believes that every person has a human right to live freely and to pursue their dreams, she founded SilverLake Immigrant Aid Society when Frances moved on from her own firm to other opportunities.
