Noel Cárdenas Recognized as a 2022 National Latino Leader
Congratulations to Noel J. Cárdenas, SVP and CEO of Memorial Hermann Southeast and Memorial Hermann Pearland hospitals, who recently was named one of 18 National Latino Leaders by the Council for Latino Workplace Equity. In September, he’ll be honored at the seventh annual National Latino Leadership Conference in Miami.
The 2022 National Latino Leaders list highlights individuals who have achieved success in their careers while paving the way for other Latinos to advance in the corporate arena. These individuals contribute to creating and promoting a culture where Latino talent is supported and leveraged for organizational success. They demonstrate leadership excellence and high visibility in the Latino community and maintain a record of professional accomplishments.
Noel is a combat veteran who served more than 30 years with the Texas National Guard and the United States Army. He has more than 35 years of healthcare leadership experience and is board certified in healthcare management through the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE).
Passionate about mentorship and coaching, Noel credits two mentors – both senior Latino healthcare executives - for their encouragement and support during key moments in his career. Aware that Latinos, nationally, make up only a small percentage of senior healthcare executives, he hopes his own work as a mentor will help inspire others to move into these leadership positions.
